SPGBK Watches Honors E.E. Smith Educators & Staff with Free Watches

  • SPGBK continues to show its appreciation through education-inspired watch donations
  • Launching School Giving Program dedicated to recognizing and celebrating educators

April 18, 2023 - Due to the growing need to support teachers and educational leaders, SPGBK continues to show its appreciation through education-inspired watch donations. SPGBK co-founders, Kwame Molden and Maurice Davis, are proud alums of E.E. Smith High School and wanted to make sure they gave back to their high school.

E.E. Smith is one of the most prominent high schools in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Each teacher at E.E. Smith dedicates their lives to help educate, raise and inspire the leaders of tomorrow.

“The donation of watches we received for our staff was more than timely.  It came at the exact time that we needed a boost for our staff and something else to be proud of” said Jessica Black, Assistant Principal, E.E. Smith High School. “Having the owners be alumni makes it that more special. We appreciate the time they took with our marketing classes to showcase to them how to enterprise and work in their communities and world. It was a special day and we look forward to seeing SPGBK watches continue with much success”.

“It’s an honor to celebrate what makes E.E. Smith special - the teachers. As a student at Smith, I had great teachers and coaches who taught me skills to tackle the real world, said Maurice Davis, Co-Founder, SPGBK Watches. Finding ways to pay it forward and acknowledging all the great work of Cumberland County educators makes me proud to be a Golden Bull”.

This year, SPGBK is launching its first-ever School Giving Program dedicated to recognizing and celebrating educators who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in teaching.

“It’s time to start praising teachers for their hard work. That’s why this donation means the world to me and inspired me to continue celebrating teachers across America with our School Giving Program,” said Kwame Molden, CEO SPGBK Watches. “As an E.E. Smith graduate it’s an honor to give back to the school and community that supported me as a kid”.
