Battery Replacement & Safety
For battery replacements, we strongly recommend visiting a professional watch repair shop or a local reputable jeweler. Our watch cases are designed with secure, snap-pressure backs to meet federal safety standards; opening them requires specialized tools and expertise to ensure the case is resealed correctly and remains water-resistant.
⚠️ WARNING: Important Battery Safety (Reese’s Law)
At SPGBK, your safety is our priority. In accordance with Reese’s Law, our watches are engineered with secure battery compartments to prevent accidental ingestion by children. Please review the following life-saving safety information:
- INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery
- DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested. A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
- KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN.
- SECURE THE CASE: Ensure the watch back is fully snapped into place and secured after any battery service.
- DISPOSE of used batteries immediately and safely.
- EMERGENCY ACTION: If you suspect a battery has been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention or call the National Battery Ingestion Hotline at (800) 498-8666.
