From NC to NOLA: SPGBK Attends Essence Fest 2023
For the first time ever, SPGBK Watches attended Essence Festival, a three-day celebration of black culture, music, food, and more held in New Orleans, Louisiana, as an official marketplace vendor. Over the three-day timespan, SPGBK sold over a ton of watches, including 3 new unreleased watches that will be released later this fall.
Celebrities like Lance Gross, Terrance J, Rocsi Diaz, and Sinqua Walls stopped by the SPGBK booth to learn more about the Black-owned watch business and were each gifted watches as a thank-you for their support.
“Essence Fest felt like the Super Bowl of Black-owned businesses, and we are honored and amazed to attend”, said Kwame Molden, CEO of SPGBK Watches. “As a digital native watch company, connecting with our community and customers in person was such a priceless experience, and can’t wait to come back next year”.
